October 12th-14th 2012
October 12th-14th Lake Loramie will host the annual Halloween Campout. Events are open to registered campers only and begin Friday night with a scary movie and popcorn at the amphitheater presented by the Camper Hosts. Saturday's events begin with a potluck dinner at noon. Campers are encouraged to bring along a side dish to share. Other events will continue through out the afternoon including pumpkin painting, kids games, and a trick-or-treat hour. Sunday campers are encouraged to explore the many attractions Lake Loramie has to offer.
This weekend is one of the last chances before the cold weather sets in. Loramie remains open for camping year round but closes the shower facilities November 1st. For more information on campout call Lake Loramie State Park at 1-937-295-2011

Lake Loramie Halloween Campout Weekend October 7-9th, 2011 was a huge success! The beautiful summer-like weather made it even more spook-tac-u-lar!!! Both Friday and Saturday night a haunted maze was put on by Chuck and Kathy Helton and park volunteers. On Saturday, kids had fun getting their faces painted and then enjoyed decorating up a pumpkin to take home with them. Great chili was served by our camper host and the Hickerson Family that played during Lake Loramie Fall Festival returned to perform on stage.
