Campsite decorating contest, lighting of the tree with Christmas caroling, Christmas movies, fun-filled Christmas activities for the kids with the naturalist, and much more.
2010 Results
The winner of the Christmas In July campsite decorating contest went to site 153-Ron Nagel. Cameron Tyler guessed the closest to the candy mint jar of 138 which it was 139. Despite the hot temperature campers enjoyed the special activities planned by Naturalist Stephanie Moorman and the Lake Loramie Camper Host. A Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony kicked off the event on Friday evening followed by a Christmas Movie the “Santa Buddies”. On Saturday, it was face painting and craft time decorating some ornaments and cookies. Gordon Yankee’s Llamas put on a show for the kids with their Llamas and then the kids got a chance to touch them. That evening the kids had a jolly on time with Christmas Family Bingo
